Very good article and very informative site.
I my self deal with urinary stones for the last 20 years because I’m surgeon.

Had an emergency procedure on Thursday (now Sunday, at home) Bilateral stones turned out to be the cause of eight or so weeks of continuous pain, treated as infection initially. They managed to remove the right stone and have left a stent in place prior to lithotripsy in 4 to 6 weeks for the left side.
This site is really helpful and clear to me, as someone who’s had a lot of health issues, including a sub-arachnoid haemorrhage just a year ago,and who studied for a science degree to understand my own problems. Thank you for keeping it available. Thanks also to the health professionals who continue to make people’s lives better, yourselves included.

I too have a bone issue. I found out that I have sarcoidosis. Its a disease that produces to much of t cells and creates calcium. The calcium will get in the blood sream and go to my kidney to form stones. Matbe this is something you have also.
